Biography

Nicolas Levrat is the UN Special Rapporteur on Minority Issues, a role he took up on November 1, 2023, following his appointment by the Human Rights Council on October 13, 2023. In this capacity, he promotes the implementation of the Declaration on the Rights of Persons belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1992.
