Nicholas James Timothy is a British politician who has served as the Conservative Member of Parliament (MP) for West Suffolk since 2024. Prior to his election, he held a prominent role as joint Downing Street Chief of Staff, alongside Fiona Hill, under Prime Minister Theresa May from 2016 to 2017. His political career also includes five years as a special adviser to Theresa May at the Home Office, where he focused on police reform, immigration, and counter-terrorism policy.
