Biography

Nicholas Barr is a British economist and Professor of Public Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), where he is affiliated with the European Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, which he earned as a Fulbright Scholar, and an MSc in economics from LSE.

Barr's career includes significant international work, notably with the World Bank.
