Neal Petersen is a South African solo racing yachtsman, author, and business owner. He gained international recognition for completing a nine-month single-handed yacht race around the world alone in a small yacht that he designed and built himself. This achievement made him the first black sailor to race solo around the world.
Petersen is the author of two books detailing his yachting career and experiences.
