Biography

Nawaf Abdallah Salim Salam is a distinguished Lebanese politician, diplomat, jurist, and academic, appointed to serve as the 53rd Prime Minister of Lebanon since February 8, 2025. Prior to this, he held a significant tenure as a Judge on the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for a nine-year term starting in 2018. In 2024, he was elected the 27th President of the ICJ, marking him as the second Arab and the first Lebanese judge to achieve this office.
