Biography

Naval Ravikant, born November 5, 1974, in New Delhi, India, is an Indian-born American entrepreneur and investor. He moved to New York City at age nine and later graduated from Dartmouth College in 1995 with degrees in Computer Science and Economics. After a brief stint at Boston Consulting Group, he co-founded Epinions, a consumer product review site, in 1999.

Epinions raised $45 million in venture capital and later merged with Dealtime to become Shopping.com, which went public in 2004.
