Natali Helberger serves as a Distinguished University Professor of Law and Digital Technology at the University of Amsterdam, with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. She is also affiliated with the Institute for Information Law (IViR).

Helberger is a co-founder and director of the AI, Media & Democracy Lab, and she directs the Algosoc Gravitation program.
