Naomi Klein is a Canadian author, social activist, and filmmaker recognized for her political analyses, support of ecofeminism and organized labour, and criticism of corporate globalization, fascism, and capitalism. She first gained international recognition with her alter-globalization book, "No Logo," published in 1999.
Her profile further increased with "The Take" (2004), a documentary film she wrote about Argentine workers' self-managed factories.
