Biography

Dr. Naoko Ishii is the Director of the Center for Global Commons (CGC) at The University of Tokyo, where she also holds the position of Special Presidential Envoy for Global Commons. The CGC's mission is to catalyze systems change for sustainable development within planetary boundaries, fostering stewardship of the global commons.
