Nancy Sherman is an American philosopher and an academic with a distinguished career. She holds the position of Professor Emerita at Bradley University and is a Distinguished University Professor of philosophy at Georgetown University. Her academic achievements include being a three-time Fulbright Scholar.

In addition to her philosophical and academic roles, Sherman has extensive experience in counseling.
