Biography

Najib Azmi Mikati, born on 24 November 1955, is a prominent Lebanese politician and businessman from Tripoli. He has served as the Prime Minister of Lebanon three times: in 2005, from 2011 to 2014, and most recently from 2021 to 2025. In 2005, he led an interim government that oversaw the general election following the withdrawal of Syrian troops.
