Nadine Strossen is an American legal scholar and civil liberties activist, currently holding the position of Professor of Law at New York Law School. She is widely recognized for her leadership as the president of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 1991 to 2008, where she made history as the first woman to lead the organization. Her academic focus includes constitutional law, federal courts, and human rights.
