Biography

Musimbi Kanyoro is the Chairperson of the International Board of the United World Colleges, a position she has held since 2019. Renowned for her advocacy and leadership in global human rights, philanthropy, and academia, she is also an independent member at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Kanyoro is a founding member of the Circle of Concerned African Women Theologians, serving as its first coordinator from 1996 to 2002.
