Muriel Médard is a French and American information theorist and electrical engineer. She serves as the Cecil H. Green Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT and holds the title of NEC Professor of Software Science and Engineering at MIT. Médard is also the co-founder of Optimum.
Her career includes roles as a Consultant at Code On Technologies, a Member of the Bell Labs Advisory Council at Nokia Bell Labs, and a Technical Advisory Board Member at Anteon.
