Molly Jong-Fast, born in August 1978 in Stamford, Connecticut, is an American journalist, novelist, and political commentator. She is the daughter of novelists Erica Jong and Jonathan Fast, and the granddaughter of writer Howard Fast. Raised in Manhattan, she attended Wesleyan University, Barnard College, and New York University before earning a Master of Fine Arts degree from Bennington College in 2004.
