Michael Katchen is the Co-founder and CEO of Wealthsimple, a role he has held since 2014. Wealthsimple is a financial technology company based in the Toronto, Canada Area.

In addition to his work at Wealthsimple, Katchen co-founded Simple Ventures in 2023, where he also serves as Chair. He is a Board Member at Intact, a position he has held since 2022. Earlier in his career, he was a Vice President at 1000memories from July 2011 to October 2013, a company that was later acquired by Ancestry.
