Biography

Mike Lee is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the senior United States senator from Utah since 2011. A member of the Republican Party, he became Utah's senior senator in 2019 and the dean of Utah's congressional delegation in 2021. Lee is the son of Rex E. Lee, who was U.S. Solicitor General under President Ronald Reagan, and the brother of former Utah Supreme Court justice Thomas Rex Lee.
