Mignon Francois is the founder and Director of Joy at The Cupcake Collection. She began her entrepreneurial journey early on, engaging in various business ventures including a photography company, children's grass cutting ventures, a tween magazine, and a children's book.

In 2007, after a period of financial hardship, Francois felt a calling to make cupcakes. She dedicated herself to studying and practicing the art of baking.
