Biography

Michelle Lynn Lujan Grisham is an American lawyer and politician who has served as the 32nd Governor of New Mexico since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, she was reelected in 2022. Prior to her governorship, Lujan Grisham represented New Mexico's 1st congressional district in the U.

S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2019. During her time in Congress, she was selected as the chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in 2016.
