Michael Miebach is a German business executive who serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mastercard, a role he assumed in January 2021. Born in Bavaria in 1968, he previously held positions including Chief Product Officer and President at Mastercard, where he was instrumental in developing the company's business in the Middle East and Africa region.

Miebach began his professional career in 1994 at Citibank in Frankfurt am Main.
