Biography

Michael Cucek is the Faculty Advisor for Asian Studies and an Assistant Professor of Asian Studies at Temple University, Japan Campus. In his academic role, his research areas encompass contemporary Japanese politics, Chinese and Japanese history, and the U.S. role in East Asia.

Prior to his academic career, Cucek spent 15 years as an analyst in a boutique Japanese political consultancy, providing him with extensive practical experience in the field of political analysis.
