Michael Clemens is an American economist and a Full Professor and founding faculty at the School of Government & Policy, Johns Hopkins University. He specializes in the causes and effects of international migration and global economic development, teaching future leaders in public policy.
Clemens also holds affiliations as a Non-Resident Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, a Research Fellow at the IZA Institute of Labor Economics, and the Rockwool Foundation Berlin.
