Biography

Michael Ableman is an American-Canadian author, organic farmer, educator, and advocate for sustainable agriculture, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the organic farming and urban agriculture movements. He has been farming organically since the 1970s and is known for his commercial-scale organic farming techniques, lecturing globally on the urban food revolution and agricultural conservation easements.
