Michael Wooldridge is the Ashall Professor of the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford, where he is a Fellow of Hertford College. He previously served as Head of the Department of Computer Science at Oxford from 2014-21. Prior to joining Oxford in 2012, he was a Professor at the University of Liverpool for 12 years, where he also held leadership roles as head of department and head of school.
