Michael "Tate" Barkley is a founding Partner of Bain & Barkley, a firm he helped grow into a multi-specialty practice focusing on Insurance Defense Litigation, Coverage, Fraud Investigation, and confidential in-house investigations. He has achieved an AV Peer Review Rating of “Preeminent.” Prior to co-founding Bain & Barkley in 2002, Barkley founded Michael Barkley, P.

C., which he led from 1992 to 2001, and served as an Associate at Housierre and Durant from 1991 to 1992.
