Michael Laha is a Senior Research Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP), joining in November 2024. In this role, he covers technology policy in China within the Center for Geopolitics, Geoeconomics, and Technology. He is also an appointed member of the German Bundestag's China Commission, which focuses on Germany's de-risking strategy.
Prior to DGAP, Laha worked as a consultant for Sinolytics, a European research-based consultancy focused on China.
