Michael Jay Boskin is the T. M. Friedman Professor of Economics and a senior fellow at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, where he joined in 1970. He is also a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Boskin holds B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, earned in 1967, 1968, and 1971 respectively.
Beyond his academic roles, Boskin is the chief executive officer and president of Boskin & Co.
