Melissa Murray is the Frederick I. and Grace Stokes Professor of Law and the faculty director of the Birnbaum Women's Leadership Center at New York University School of Law, where she has been a faculty member since July 1, 2018. She is also a legal analyst for MSNBC and co-host of the Strict Scrutiny Podcast for Crooked Media.

Murray is the co-author of the NY Times #1 Best-selling "The Trump Indictments." Prior to joining NYU, she served as the interim dean of the UC Berkeley School of Law.
