Biography

Melanie Phillips is a British public commentator and journalist, born on June 4, 1951. She currently writes for The Times, The Jerusalem Post, the Jewish News Syndicate, and The Jewish Chronicle, covering political and social issues from a socially conservative perspective. Her career began with writing for The Guardian and New Statesman.

During the 1990s, Phillips became associated by some critics with right-wing politics and the far-right, with her work linked to the "Eurabia" theory.
