Sir Melvyn John Stride is a British politician who currently serves as Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer in Kemi Badenoch's Shadow Cabinet, an appointment he received in November 2024. A member of the Conservative Party, he has represented Central Devon as its Member of Parliament (MP) since 2010.
