Biography

Mehmet Cengiz Oz, also known as Dr. Oz, is an American physician, television presenter, author, educator, and government official. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1960 to Turkish immigrants, he is a dual citizen of the U.

S. and Turkey. Oz received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1982 and obtained a joint MD and MBA in 1986 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and The Wharton School.
