Dame Margaret Olivia Hillier, known as Meg Hillier, is a British Labour and Co-operative politician. She has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Hackney South and Shoreditch since her election in 2005. Currently, Hillier chairs the Treasury Select Committee, a position she has held since 2024. Prior to this, she chaired the Public Accounts Committee from 2015 to 2024.
Hillier's early career included working as a journalist in regional press and social housing media.
