McKeel Hagerty is the CEO and Chairman of Hagerty, an automotive lifestyle brand and specialty collectible insurance company headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan. Born in 1967, he grew up with a passion for cars, completing a three-year restoration of a 1967 Porsche 911S with his father at age 13. His parents, Frank and Louise Hagerty, founded Hagerty Insurance Agency in 1984, initially focusing on collector wooden boats.
