Maya Wiley is an American lawyer, professor, and civil rights activist. She currently serves as President and CEO of The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, a position she has held since May 2022. Born in Syracuse, New York, and raised in Washington, D.C., Wiley is the daughter of civil rights leader George Wiley, whose activism inspired her focus on progressive issues.
