Vasilios Mavroudis is a Principal Research Scientist at The Alan Turing Institute, where he co-leads the AI for Cyber Defence (AICD) Research Centre. His primary focus is on AI risk and security, specifically examining how general-purpose AI influences offensive cyber capabilities and developing methods to evaluate and mitigate these risks from both technical and policy perspectives.
Mavroudis leads initiatives such as measuring AI-enabled cyber threats, including the AI Cyber Risk Benchmark.
