Mike Volpi is an Italian-American businessman and venture capitalist. He is currently a General Partner at Hanabi Capital, a role he has held since 2025. Volpi co-founded Index Ventures’ San Francisco office with Danny Rimer in 2009, where he later became a Retired Partner. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering, an MS in manufacturing systems engineering, and an MBA from Stanford University.
