Biography

Mauro Porcini is the first President & Chief Design Officer at Samsung Electronics, a role he assumed in April 2025. In this position, he leads human-centered innovation across the company’s mobile, display, TV, and appliance businesses, overseeing a global team of 1,500 designers in Seoul and other creative hubs.

Prior to Samsung, Porcini was the first Chief Design Officer at PepsiCo from 2012 to 2025, where he expanded his team to nearly 400 designers across 19 cities.
