Maurie McInnis is the twenty-fourth president of Yale University, a role she assumed on July 1, 2024. With three decades in higher education, she has held diverse teaching, research, and leadership positions across several prominent universities. Prior to her current role, she served as the sixth president of Stony Brook University from 2020 to 2024, where she oversaw Stony Brook Medicine, which includes five health sciences schools, four hospitals, and 200 community-based healthcare settings.
