Biography

Matvii Bidnyi is the Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, a role he assumed on September 5, 2024, following his tenure as acting minister from November 9, 2023. Born on November 28, 1979, he is also recognized as a former professional bodybuilder and a three-time Ukrainian bodybuilding champion.

His career within the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine began in 2016 as Chief Specialist in the Division of Priority Non-Olympic Sports.
