Biography

Matthieu Aikins is a Canadian-American journalist and author, recognized for his extensive reporting on international conflicts and social issues. He is a recipient of two Pulitzer Prizes and serves as a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine, in addition to being a Puffin Fellow at Type Media Center. His first book, "The Naked Don't Fear the Water," published in 2022, chronicles his undercover journey to Europe with Afghan refugees and has been translated into nine languages.
