Mathilde Mukantabana is a Rwandan politician and diplomat. She currently serves as the Ambassador of Rwanda to the United States. In addition to this role, she is also the non-resident Ambassador for Rwanda to Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico.

Born in Butare, Rwanda in 1958, Mukantabana experienced significant personal loss in 1994, when she lost her parents and five siblings.
