Martin Georg Kocher is an Austrian economist and academic, born on September 13, 1973. He holds the position of Governor at the Oesterreichische Nationalbank (OeNB) and is a Professor at the Universität Wien.

Kocher's career includes serving at the Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Wirtschaft (Federal Ministry Of Economy, Energy And Tourism) and as Director of the Institute For Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna. He is also noted as a former politician.
