Marissa Parra is a national correspondent for NBC News, currently based in Miami. Prior to her role at NBC News, she reported for Chicago’s WBBM-TV for three years.

Her career has involved working in various locations along the East Coast, including experience as a native Floridian, a former resident of Baltimore, and a reporter in Virginia. Parra is a graduate of the University of Maryland. She also served as a producer for ABC News DC.
