Mark S. Cogan serves as an Associate Professor of Peace and Conflict Studies in the College of Foreign Studies at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. He is also a Senior Associated Research Fellow at the Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP).
His research interests encompass Southeast Asia and the broader Indo-Pacific region, alongside security studies, peacebuilding, counter-terrorism, and human rights.
