Dr. Mark Moyar is the William P. Harris Chair of Military History at Hillsdale College, a position he has held since July 2021. An accomplished historian and author, he holds a B.A. summa cum laude from Harvard and a Ph.D. from Cambridge. He previously served as a professor at the U.S. Marine Corps University from 2004 to 2010, where he held the Kim T. Adamson Chair of Insurgency and Terrorism, and has also taught at Texas A&M University.
