Biography

Mark Zandi is the Chief Economist of Moody's Analytics, a subsidiary of Moody's Corp. In this role, he directs economic research and oversees the global economic forecast. He co-founded Economy.com in 1990, which Moody's purchased in 2005, subsequently becoming part of Moody's Analytics.

Zandi's research interests include macroeconomics, financial markets, and public policy, with a focus on analyzing the economic impact of government spending and monetary policy.
