Mark W. Watson, born in 1952, is the Howard Harrison and Gabrielle Snyder Beck Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, a position he has held since 1995. Prior to joining Princeton, he served on the economics faculties at Harvard University and Northwestern University.
Watson's research primarily focuses on time-series econometrics, empirical macroeconomics, and macroeconomic forecasting.
