Biography

Mark W. Menezes is the President & CEO of the United States Energy Association. His career includes significant roles in both government and the private sector, primarily focused on energy.

Menezes served as the U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy, a position for which he was confirmed by the Senate in a 79–16 vote on August 4, 2020. Prior to this, he was the Chief Counsel for Energy and Environment at the House Committee On Energy And Commerce.
