Mark Overton, FAcSS, is a distinguished British agricultural historian and academic. He held the position of Professor of Economic and Social History at the University of Exeter, where he also served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor from 2006 to 2013. His research and publications have significantly contributed to the understanding of agricultural change and economic growth in England.
