Biography

Mark Handley is a Professor of Networked Systems in the Department of Computer Science of University College London, a position he has held since 2003. He also contributes to Supercomputer Networks at OpenAI.

His research at UCL focuses on network architecture, congestion control, routing protocol design, and network design for robustness. Handley is a prolific contributor to Internet standards, having co-authored 30 RFCs.
